The hull of the Privé 4.0 boat weighs only 100 kg, which is achieved through the use of composite sandwich panels. These panels consist of layers of fiberglass fabrics and mats of varying densities, between which high-density structural foam is placed. The vacuum forming process ensures dense gluing of layers without air inclusions, and subsequent heat treatment gives the hull high strength, lightness and positive buoyancy.
Trimaran hull contours provide increased stability and comfort on the water, reducing roll and providing more space in the cockpit. Extended front chines help the boat quickly get on plane and increase stability at speed. The straight stem not only gives the boat a modern look, but also improves its ability to cut through waves.
